Recently, a high-level delegation from the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) visited LAISON in China to explore advanced smart water solutions and foster future collaboration. The meeting marked a significant step toward deepening cooperation in smart metering, leakage management, and digital water infrastructure.
During the meeting, LAISON delivered a comprehensive presentation covering its wide range of metering products and the Hardware & Data Management System (HDMS). The presentation highlighted several flagship international projects such as the GPRS water meter project in Zambia, the ultrasonic water meter project in Indonesia, and the mechanical meter retrofit project in Indonesia. These case studies demonstrated LAISON's global experience and commitment to delivering reliable, scalable smart water solutions. Beyond smart metering, LAISON offers technical consultation covering Water Supply Plants, SCADA Systems, Leakage Management, and Wastewater Treatment and other related services, providing end-to-end solutions tailored to the needs of water utilities worldwide.
LAISON also shared experiences from the visit of the African Water and Sanitation Association (AfWASA) delegation, during which they conducted on-site visits to smart water projects and engaged in in-depth discussions. LAISON expressed hope to provide a similar opportunity for VWSA in the future, enabling deeper understanding and collaboration.
Following the presentation, LAISON engaged in in-depth discussions with VWSA. VWSA delegation showed interest in LAISON's pilot projects and explored topics such as meter communication technologies and the current status of water metering in Vietnam. The exchange helped foster mutual understanding and opened the door for potential cooperation.
LAISON and VWSA will continue to stay in close contact and explore further opportunities for cooperation, aiming to deepen their partnership in the field of water supply and management. The meeting reaffirmed LAISON's role as a trusted technology partner and highlighted the growing opportunity for strategic cooperation in Southeast Asia's water industry.
